Crockpot Shredded Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwiches

We are always looking for easy and quick recipes for our busy lives. We love crockpot meals for our busy weeks or when we are just looking for something easy while we are camping. With both of us working a full time job and part time at a fire department some weeks can get pretty hectic for us, so simple is just what we need sometimes. This recipe was given to us from a fellow camper and we just had to try it. This recipe fed four adults and we gave a couple sandwiches to the campground owner and had enough left over for about two more sandwiches. So come hungry!

Ingredients:

4 Large Chicken Breasts

16 Oz Cream Cheese

1 1/2 Cup Shredded Colby Cheese

2 Packets Ranch Dressing Packet

1 pound cooked and crumbled Bacon

Artisan Brioche Buns

We use a crock pot liner all the time, it makes clean up so much easier. Place chicken breasts into crock pot. In separate bowl mix together cream cheese, cooked bacon, ranch packets and colby cheese. Place mixture onto chicken breasts.

Turn crockpot on high for 4 hours. We use a screen cover when we are camping to keep the flies and wasps away from the crockpot while it’s cooking. During this time relax, take a walk or just visit with family.

After the four hours shred chicken and mix everything thoroughly. Put on your bun add desired amount of shredded colby cheese or lettuce. Enjoy and to all the other busy families be thankful for the quick clean up.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Chicken Breast
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 1/2 Cup Finely Shredded Cheese
  • 2 packets Ranch Dressing Packet
  • 1 lb Bacon Cooked and Crumbled
  • Artisan Brioche Buns

Instructions
 

  • Place crockpot liner inside crockpot.
  • Place 4 large thawed chicken breast in bottom.
  • In a seperate bowl mix cream cheese, bacon, ranch packets, and cheese together and place into crockpot covering chicken breasts.
  • Cook on high for 4 hours.
  • Shred chicken and stir to mix together.
  • Put desired sandwich amount on bun. Can add additional shredded colby cheese or lettuce.
  • Enjoy and share!

Notes

We use crockpot liners for easy clean up. When we make this while camping we use a cover to help keep flies and wasps off the crockpot.
