We were asked to be in charge of S’mores at our last family party.  We, OK I decided, just the original s’more was too boring, so we brought a couple different versions of campfire s’mores including “The Original S’more”.  We also brought a family favorite of Campfire Waffle Cone S’mores, click here for recipe and directions.  Then for the adults we brought a S’more After Dinner Shooter.  It was a huge hit and super easy to make.  The family has already asked for us to think of other shooter recipes for the next outdoor party.

Ingredients:

Graham Cracker Crumbs

Chocolate Syrup

Half and Half

Vodka

Chocolate Liqueur

Marshmallows

Toasted Marshmallow Syrup

Because we were taking it to another home we used things that could be packed up and easily cleaned.  We used our Magic Bullet to make the graham crackers into a powder consistency prior to leaving the house.  For the chocolate sauce and graham cracker crumbs we used a Tupperware container to coat the rim of the shot glasses.

We used a clear glass drink shaker, the reason why we use clear is because you can use it to measure and don’t have to dirty something else.

2 oz of Vodka

2 oz of Chocolate Liqueur

3 oz of Half and Half

1/2 oz Torani Toasted Marshmallow Syrup

This will make between 4-5 shooters depending on the size of your shooter.  Add your ice to the shaker, and shake until cool and mixed.

Put a small amount of chocolate syrup on the bottom of the shooter.  Fill the mixture slightly below the rim of the shooter so you leave room for the toasted marshmallow. We toasted our marshmallows over a campfire since we had one going. Or if you want to be fancy you can use a kitchen torch. Have fun with it and Enjoy!  Remember to drink responsibly and don’t drink and drive.
